Life in Grace

Tonight I ask all of you to say a special prayer for one of our fellow Bloggers, Edie, at Life in Grace.  Tuesday, December the 21st Edie and her family lost their home to a fire.  By the Grace of God they escaped with no injuries.  I stumbled across her blog tonight and as I read her story I sat here crying and praying for her family.  Please take the time to read Edie's blog, I read just a little of who she is and I immediately fell in love with her.  You can feel the spirit of God in her with every sentence she writes.  She makes me want to be a better everything.    Please pray for her and the family and send her a card.  She gave us the address where she is staying.

Day #1 - Getting Organized Challenge

Day #1 Challenge (Organizing the "junk" drawer)

What a mess!  I couldn't find anything, I always found something, and found things I didn't know what they went to.   Look what is under all my hot pads.

I found screws, nails, paint brushes, lollipops, lollipop sticks, dog clippers, combs, crayons, needle & thread, recipe books, batteries, tape, wire, etc.....

I dumped everything in a box, cleaned my drawer, and layed out new liner for the drawer.

I got rid of everything except batteries, pencils/pens, scissors, and hot pads.

Wow!  Much better.
