Functional Wall Art
I was bored and alone one night....so I decided I needed to make something, but what? I went into my garage to see if there was anything I could find to make and I came across this.
I then got my husband's saw out and made four cuts to frame the laddace. I don't know how to use the nail gone (yet!) so I used nail glue for the crown molding.
I painted black
I painted white (picture not shown). Let dry and sanded down the edges to let the black show. I had Fleur de Lee door knobs inside a drawer and thought they would be perfect to go on my project.
Now, I use it to hold backpacks and coats.

Christmas Mantel
I love decorating for Christmas. It makes my heart leap just thinking about it! If I had two 4ft Nutcrakers for each side of the base it would be perfect.
My wooden soldiers are from my grandmother. Priceless.

My Daughter's Room Part 1
All of my daughter's bedroom furniture are hand me downs. I love everything except her room is not cohesive. I need to make her a princess room!
I found a steal on Craiglist and this became my inspiration!
I primed and spray painted them black.
